A 4 A.M. Shift

While I wish I could report there was a major shift in my Miracle Morning work, that’s not what I’m talking about here.

While that is going well and I am starting to see a difference, I am happy to report a major shift in how the cats are interacting around here!

4 am shift 101415

Little shy guy is the one in the middle and he has been living on the 3rd floor since we got him 6 1/2 weeks ago. Yesterday he started showing signs of wanting to come down to the 2nd floor – showing up around the time food was served to the other two. I got up at 4 this morning like I usually do and headed off to feed two cats. That’s always the FIRST matter of business in the morning – of course. 🙂 I prepped the two bowls and put them down. All of a sudden I had THREE cats sitting there: two eating and one wondering where he was supposed to eat. Uh oh, I hadn’t planned for this!

It appears he’s hearing the kibble being poured and is coming downstairs to get some food.

While this is wonderful progress that he’s making, we still aren’t pushing him. He will make this move downstairs as he feels more comfortable. We’re so pleased with his progress!! Some day we won’t even remember the rough adjustment period we’ve all gone through. It’ll just be life as we know it. 🙂

I wouldn’t trade these guys for anything! They all came to us for a reason and are well worth the hard work.
