Despite life STILL trying to kick my ass these days – I actually made some progress on a website I’m working on! Yes, this is the progress I had hoped to complete at least 3 weeks ago, but that never happened. Either way – progress was made today!
My goals for that site were to create a product comparison page applicable to the niche. I also wanted to create a downloadable product to offer for free printing by the reader. The downloadable product was mostly finalized a few weeks ago, but I hadn’t even started on the product comparison chart. I am quite happy to report that not only did I start on the chart, but I COMPLETED the chart – all today! 🙂 It took me a good portion of the day, but I had to learn the ins and outs of two WordPress plugins. I sure do have those down by now and I’m very pleased with how the page came out.
The site isn’t 100% the way I want it just yet, but I published the page nonetheless. Not quite ready to offer the free download yet, but I’m so much closer to doing so. Happy with the progress – no complaints there!
In other news:
Today would have been my grandmother’s 91st birthday. She has been gone since 2001 and I still miss her. Such a beautiful, wonderful lady to have known. Seeing pictures of her in her younger days – I really look like her more than anyone else in my family! Not at all a bad thing. 🙂  I don’t think she thought she was pretty and that’s too bad. She was absolutely beautiful! Really surprised my mother didn’t mention her in our brief phone call today. That’s fine by me – I didn’t want to discuss it with her.
Mad mad mad at life again today. Plugging along anyway. This storm/not storm is NOT helping!! Last I looked it wasn’t really snowing, but apparently it’s just starting to get going here. WORST timing EVER! Third week in a row we’ve had a damn snowstorm that has really impacted my work schedule. I still don’t know if I’ll be going into work tomorrow or not. Guess I’ll make that call in the morning.
