Since I’ve had this song stuck in my head the last few days, it seemed like a good choice for today.
For as far back as I can remember, I had always said “If Hell ever freezes over, if they EVER get over their differences and go on tour, I will be there no matter what!” Did I ever think that would happen? Not a chance!
Imagine my surprise back in 2003 when they announced they were going on tour. WHAT?!?! Oh yes – we were there! Wouldn’t have missed that for anything. Gotta say: ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ is a VERY powerful song to hear live. You’ll never listen to that song the same way again after that.
Ah, but my favorite Simon & Garfunkel song is this one: 🙂
